Top Travel Destinations (for Australians) and New Currencies

Aligning available currencies to where people are travelling

June 6, 2020 ·

CardRat.es is expanding the tracked currencies for its comparisons. As a natural progression, more conversion options should be available to better help those with their foreign spending research.

With this in mind, the addition of new currencies will be prioritised by the overseas spending habits of Australians. The Australian Bureau of Statistics publishes data which indicates the number of ‘short trip’ overseas travellers and their respective destinations.

  3. U.S. Dollar (USD) - already available
  4. British Pound (GBP) - already available
  5. Chinese Yuan (CNY)
  6. Japanese Yen (JPY) - already available
  7. Thai Baht (THB)
  8. Indian Rupee (INR)

Over the coming weeks, CardRat.es will be implementing the currencies listed to give better perspective on the value of currency conversions for those Australians making these trips.
